The short version
This is my personal site. It has no forms, no sign-ups and no ads. It counts visits with Google Analytics only if you say yes, and you can change your answer at any time.
Apart from Cloudflare, which hosts the site, and Google Analytics if you allow it, no other company sees your visit. The fonts and images come from this site.
Analytics, if you allow it
When you choose Allow, the site loads Google Analytics. It sets cookies in your browser (named _ga, and _ga_ followed by an ID) so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one.
It records the pages you open, how far down each one you scroll, and how long each section stays in the middle of your screen. From the links and buttons you press, it can tell which projects you open, the demos you try and any easter eggs you find.
It also records the option you pick under “Who’s reading?”, the reason you pick for an introduction, and whether you copy my email address or print a page. Google adds your approximate location, your device and browser, and the site that sent you. The site never sends Google your name, your email address or anything you type.
Google keeps it for 14 months. I use it to see which parts of the site people read.
LA TechSpace, the studio I co-founded, built this site with me and looks after its analytics, so it sees the reports too. Nothing the site records is sold or used for advertising.
How Google uses information from sites that use its services (opens in a new tab)
Saying no, or changing your mind
If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, analytics never loads, whatever you chose.
Choose Don’t allow, or change your answer later with Cookie settings at the bottom of any page. Withdrawing removes the analytics cookies and reloads the page without them.
Your answer is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, so the site doesn’t ask on every page. Clearing this site’s data in your browser clears it.
Hosting
Cloudflare serves this site. Like any web host, it handles your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, under its own privacy policy.

Introductions and email
“Open in ChatGPT” and “Open in Claude” open that assistant in a new tab with the prompt already written. The site itself sends neither of them anything, and what you do there is covered by their own policies. The email link opens your own mail app.
